1.Kevin is hanging out with Gwen and Ben because an alien, who was hanging with ben and gwen, saved kevin. In return Kevin owed the alien. Finally the alien died and kevin stayed to help ben and gwen.
2. Every 2 aliens have fused eg. wildvine + heatblast = swampfire.
